Convocation Ceremony at Ujala DOWA
The Convocation Ceremony at Ujala DOWA was held on Thursday, 23 July 2026.
It was a celebration of hope, perseverance, and new beginnings. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, AVRWA Chairman - Col. Prashant Gupta, whose inspiring words encouraged the learners to continue their journey of education, confidence, and self-reliance. Certificates were awarded to learners who successfully completed Literacy, Digital Literacy (Computer Education), and vocational courses in Tailoring and Beauty, recognizing their commitment to learning and personal growth. The event reflected Ujala DOWA's vision of empowering women through education, digital inclusion, skill development, and confidence, inspiring every participant to build a brighter and more self-reliant future.




Tree Plantation at Ujala
On 23rd July 2026, Ujala organised a Tree Plantation Drive to spread awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting nature. Saplings were planted with great enthusiasm, symbolising a shared commitment to creating a greener and healthier future. The initiative inspired everyone to care for the environment and contribute towards a more sustainable world.


Visit To The Parliament House
On 21st April. 2026, we visited the Parliament House. It was a very educational trip for the girls and all of us, as we were able to see the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. The guide there explained the proceedings really well. The art gallery was also very informative. Overall, it was a very good experience for all of us.
Women's Day Celebrations!
On the occasion of Women’s Day, the girls of our prestigious UJALA NGO participated in vibrant cultural activities, showcasing their talent, confidence, and enthusiasm. The organization continues to support their growth by providing a safe and nurturing environment along with opportunities to learn and express themselves. Their participation stands as a testament to how girls are being empowered and flourishing through these initiatives.


Ayurvedic Camp
On 6th February the INNER WHEEL STAR CLUB NOIDA organized an Ayurvedic camp at Ujala. Dr. Manisha Sharma explained about Ayurveda and its advantages in our daily life by giving very simple tips that were very easy for every one to follow. She taught us how to make useful Ayurvedic medicines at home using simple kitchen ingredients. It was an interactive session where the girls actively participated asking various questions. They became more aware of natural ways to stay healthy.


Basant Panchami
On 23rd January 2026, Basant Panchami was celebrated in Ujala, with great enthusiasm and devotion. All wore yellow dresses, which created a beautiful festive atmosphere. They also presented colorful cultural performances, making the celebration joyful and memorable for everyone.
